Google is now rolling Google Boost (only available in USA at the moment). Google Boost allows you to advertise your business on Google and Google Maps (including mobile devices) and will help you to attract more visitors to your website.

You will be able to manage Google Boost through your Google Places account and allows business owners to advertise their business on local search results. It will work on a very similar basis to Google Adwords as in you will only pay when potential clients click on your ad and you can set a budget.

The following information will be shown on Google Boost Ad display:

• Your Business Name
• Business Contact Details

This is the same as they appear in your Google Places account so make sure your Google Places business information is up-to-date.
